I am the Daughter of Samuel & Doris McAlister nee Smith) they were married in 1939? Had son David Frederick Spencer born 1941, daughter Marion Caroline born 1942, son Robert Ian born 1844 and son James Bernard Nicholas born 1956. Both parents and David now deceased, looking for any McAlister clan. Dad originated from Belfast, he had two sisters( they were taken to America after their mother died) and brothers (not sure how many) were put in Dr Barnardos home temporarily. One brother was called William who had two sons, whom I last saw at my mothers funeral over 20 years ago. Bill, one of William's sons lived in Lincolnshire and I understand he was doing the family tree. We have lost touch. I know I have or had relations in USA, the only surname I have is Wernquist.
